This Made My Day Today

He is so darn cute even though he doesn't know the words to the song.
I'm also amazed by how awesome he is at playing the ukulele!!!

sNOw Tree Like the Sycamore

After three days of thick white snow, which I haven't been too happy about, I finally figured out a redeeming quality for it.
Now, ALL the trees look like sycamores! (These are my favorite trees by the way)

The way I see it, the other trees got jealous, and so with the snow came perfect sycamore camouflage!

(I'll have to take a picture tomorrow, I didn't have my camera with me outside today)

New Transportation Comes to OH (Just as I'm Leaving)

If you haven't heard yet, the proposed train system linking Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus and Cleveland finally has funding. They plan to begin construction in the spring and it will hopefully be done by 2012. Check out the link here: http://www.dot.state.oh.us/Divisions/Rail/Programs/passenger/3CisME/Pages/default.aspx

Too bad I probably won't be here to use it...

Dreams and Birds

It's funny how when you read or think about something before you go to bed, that you sometimes dream about it while you're sleeping. Last night I was reading a book about the 1913 flood in Dayton and then I had a dream about being in a flood. I also had a dream about a big puppy, but, I think that's because I really want a pet right now.
Speaking of pets though, I'm REALLY excited because my birds finally found the feeder I put out for them. I think it took me a few tries to find the right place, but they were all over my balcony this morning and it made smile to watch them. My goal is to figure out what kind of birds they are so I can start naming them. :D
